How do I sign up for Maesh? How do I create an account?

What do I need to sign up for Maesh? Do I need to share any documents?
Currently, you need 2 things to sign up for Maesh:
- a Singaporean incorporated company with UEN (Unique Entity Number). We will retrieve your Registered Name automatically
- and of course a webshop URL (company website)
Are you a non-Singaporean company? You can still sign up with us, but you would need a Singaporean subsidiary company and Singaporean bank account to get started.
I have an online business that's not registered with ACRA and thus I do not have a UEN. Can I still open an account with Maesh?
As a payment provider, we are required to comply with the Payment Services Act (PSA) that got enforced this year on January 28, 2020.
As part of the PSA, we need to conduct due diligence of our customers and make sure that every merchant is registered under the Business Names Registration Act 2014. That means you will need to register with ACRA and thus receive a UEN in order to be able to open an account with us.
If you are carrying on business in your own full name, you are exempted from registration with ACRA.
Your name is Kevin Khoo. You can run your travel agency with your full name "Kevin Khoo" without registering with ACRA. You can also open an account with Maesh. Please reach out to us for help!
Your name is Kevin Khoo. You want to name your travel agency "Kevin's Travel Agency". This means that you are not exempted from ACRA registration. Unfortunately, you can also not open an account with Maesh.
How would I know if I have successfully signed up with Maesh?
